ABOUT
I grew up in the small town of Placerville, California. I was first introduced to climbing on the beautiful granite of the Sierra Nevada foothills. It quickly consumed my life and I began making frequent trips to the High Sierra and Yosemite Nat'l Park throughout highschool. After committing to college at Montana State University in Bozeman, I started ice climbing in the nearby Hyalite Canyon. Upon graduating, I committed to full time guiding.
Currently, I am a mountain guide based out of Bozeman. Most of my days in the mountains are spent in the greater Yellowstone ecosystem, even though I try to travel around for the best climbing in the season. Through the outdoors, I seek out challenge, adventure, and friendships. If I'm not out at a local crag or on an extended trip, it's likely that I'm sipping some beer and working on my van.
